You would be surprised at how right a mother can get. From the very beginning, my mother would tell me that friends can be temporary but family is forever. You think about it, (in most cases) it is very true. But i thought my friends would stay forever. Just like family!
My mother knows about my sins, my ugly side, my dark times. She keeps them confidential between her and I, in order to protect me from shame. She may scream, she may shout. Angry, sad, disappointed ; she is always ready to help me. She talks to me, listens to me and I am forever grateful.
Now recently my friends have seen the worst of me. Friends i would consider family. Safe to say (from witnessing behaviors) my friends are not family. Safe to say i don't feel protected or helped. But for all the evil things I've done, do i deserve help? Everybody needs help therefore everybody deserves help.

A mother is almost always right, a father too. However, once in a while they are in the wrong though not often, it still happens. The reason why they are almost always right is because they speak from experience, they speak from having been through growing up once upon a time. They aren't always right because they did not grow up the way we all did and of course, because they are human and as humans, we make mistakes. Lots of them. You cannot compare a friends love with a mother's love. Even the love a brother has towards another brother cannot compare to a mothers love towards her child as it is one of unconditional, bountiful, beautiful love. The type of love that could blind one's eyes from mistakes and make one's heart a forgiving one. Everyone has a dark side, even those who appear to be of piousness. The difference between people is how well they hide their dark side and how they handle their dark side. Perhaps you did not handle your dark side as well as others and perhaps this has hurt your relationships. I'm very sure your friends love you, the bond and relationship you had formed was one I could see as a very strong one. However, you must put yourself in their shoes too. You must see it the way they saw it and understand their reaction. I really can't say much because I don't know what's going on and what had happened. If you need help, seek help because the world is like that.
